Chris Little

President & Chief Executive Officer

Chris Little has 20 years of Operations and Technology experience, over half of that in his leadership role at Dominion Digital. His impetus for founding Dominion Digital was fueled by a passion for solving real-world business problems combined with an even greater passion for creating an exceptional place to work, one that genuinely puts the human before the resource.

Under Chris' influence, Dominion Digital has excelled in employee satisfaction, client satisfaction, and community involvement, primarily due to the team's passion for serving all three, as well as its commitment to continuous improvement year after year. Dominion Digital consultants are recognized by their peers, clients and community not only for their exceptional business results, but also for their values, their attitudes, and their professionalism. Dominion Digital has been honored with the Ernst & Young Virginia Entrepreneur of the Year Award and also as a Virginia Chamber of Commerce Fantastic 50 company.

Since the firm's inception in 1997, Chris has worn just about every hat, spanning delivery, recruiting, business development, and executive leadership & management. In his current role, his emphasis is on growing relationships throughout the community, business development, delivery oversight, and cultural leadership.

As early as age 14, Chris developed his first business solution, a job-costing software application for a professional services firm. Prior to Dominion Digital, he was VP of Commerce Applications at Value America, an Internet start-up. Prior to that, he held an Information Systems technical role at General Electric (GE), where he also completed GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), an industry-renowned two-year program in finance & business leadership. His diverse experiences at GE reinforced his belief that in business, technology is a means to an end, not an end in itself.

A native of Ireland and one of 10 children, Chris put himself through undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States with scholarships. He has a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Software Engineering from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.

A guest lecturer at the University of Virginia (UVA) and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), he is on the VCU IS Advisory Board, the Greater Richmond Technology Council (GRTC) Board of Directors, and the Big Brother Big Sisters Board of Directors. A childhood beneficiary of voluntary care and support, he is also an active volunteer and supporter of Comfort Zone Camp, the Boys & Girls Club of Charlottesville, and Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team, among others. Chris resides in Charlottesville with his wife Tori, daughter Nora, and son Liam.
