
David Birckhead
Executive Principal
One of Dominion Digital’s first employees, Mr. Birckhead has played a variety of roles during his tenure, including project and client management, recruiting, consulting, and leading marketing initiatives. With over 10 years of consulting experience, his core skills include business analysis, project management, process improvement, and technology design and implementation. Mr. Birckhead has successfully served organizations including Cummins, Lexis-Nexis, Cendant, Capital One, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), and the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO). Prior to joining Dominion Digital, Mr. Birckhead worked as a project team leader and consultant at American Management Systems where he led AMS project teams focused on business intelligence, process improvement, and e-commerce.

Community Support
Mr. Birckhead and his wife, Sarah, are active in the cancer advocacy community and support the vision of the National Cancer Institute to “eliminate the suffering and death due to cancer by the year 2015”. They support the American Cancer Society, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Mr. Birckhead also serves on the Business Leadership Council for the Campagna Center in Alexandria, Virginia.
Personal Interests
Mr. Birckhead enjoys his family including his wife, Sarah, and their son, Logan. Mr. Birckhead’s personal interests include running, hiking & camping, and reading.
