Dominion Digital’s Partnerships with Community Service Organizations Enrich the Community and Their Employees
Giving Back to the Places Where They Live and Work
RICHMOND, VA - December 16, 2008 - Dominion Digital, a regionally based process and technology consulting firm, considers partnerships with local community organizations a duty and a privilege. Employees and the firm’s leadership believe in “giving back to the places where they live and work” says the company’s CEO, Chris Little.
As a regular sponsor of community events, Dominion Digital encourages employees to help with fundraising and volunteer efforts throughout the region. Robyn Mauney, Development Manager with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Blue Ridge Chapter, thanks the firm for being an “amazing sponsor and an amazing team! We appreciate your continued support of our event.” Employees and friends of Dominion Digital have raised over $28,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society since first participating in 2006. The firm was recently recognized with a “Community Partner Award” for their continued support and dedication to the Blue Ridge Chapter.
In addition to the MS Society, the firm is actively involved with organizations and charitable events such as Relay for Life, The Boys & Girls Club of Charlottesville and Comfort Zone Camp, just to name a few. In 2008, Dominion Digital organized a team to support St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer driven fundraising event focused on childhood cancer research. Support of this particular organization was fueled by the team’s passion to honor former employees that lost their battle with cancer.
As a recognized partner in the community, Dominion Digital seeks out partnerships with local organizations. “We really appreciate all the hard work Dominion Digital does for the Club and the Challenge – seriously, you are a terrific friend to us; thank you thank you,” says Beth Ike, Director of Marketing & Events at The Boys & Girls Club of Charlottesville / Albemarle. Dee Raubenstine, Director of Development and Public Affairs at The Richmond Forum, “appreciates all that Dominion Digital does for us and for the community. What a great team!”
Dominion Digital’s involvement and commitment to Central Virginia is a part of the company’s history, mission and core values. Chris Little shares that it’s the firms’ “relationships with our employees, our clients, and our communities that drive everything we do as a firm.”
