The book is a major rewrite of ASP.NET Cookbook to reflect the many significant differences between Microsoft ASP.NET 1.x and ASP.NET 2.0. This former cookbook, a popular choice among Software Engineers and Architects, was also co-authored by Mr. Kittel and was published in August 2004.

"Recognizing that 2.0 is still in the early-adoption phase, we wanted to leverage our already-extensive experience to proactively provide solutions and examples specific to its new features and functions," says Kittel, who has been working with Microsoft .NET since 2000 and version 2.0 since 2004, staying at least one year ahead of the industry. In that timeframe, Mr. Kittel and his peers at Dominion Digital have delivered over 40 production systems on the .NET platform. The firm also has extensive experience in the J2EE platform.

Dominion Digital's value to its clients combines business and technology consulting expertise with pragmatic hands-on project management and execution. "In all our areas of expertise - whether related to business consulting or technology solutions - we’re committed to staying ahead of the curve so that our clients can benefit from sound experience-based guidance and hands-on assistance," says Chris Little, Dominion Digital Founder and CEO. "Mike’s pioneering on this particular technology front is another example of our commitment in action."
